News from 4/11 Pack Mtg

Announcements
The pack will be purchasing backpacks for the scouts to put all of their extra patches on. This will be a fun way for the kids to display all they have accomplished.

Bob Mahew, our assistant District Commissioner, came by on Monday to speak with us about Friends of Scouting. He also presented our Pack with our first Streamer for our Pack Flag! The Pack can earn many streamers for various activities to decorate our Pack Flag. What a fun way to show our pride!

4/16--Scout Show at National Western Stockshow Grounds
~$10 admission for families
~tons of fun for everyone!! Obstacle courses, fishing games, lots of scout ideas

5/7--Dinosaur Ridge, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

5/14--District Pinewood Derby.
~Races begin at 10:30 a.m.
~We would like to cheer on Scouts from our Pack!
~Rocket launch at 9 a.m.

6/6-6/10--Valley District 2011 Day Camp
~Great opportunity for boys to earn several requirements for their badges!
~Cost is $75 ($85 if late reg, after 5/13)

8/19-21, or 9/16-18--Magness Fall Family Camp

T-shirt Contest!!!!
The boys were each given a sheet to create their own design for our Summer Pack T-shirt! Please be sure to turn those in by 4/25! Designs should include the Fleur-de-Lis and Pack 414.

PARENTS!!! We need your HELP!!!
Please sign up and complete the Youth Protection Training and be sure to PRINT out your card for Aleecia. This will help us to be able to do more activities with the boys. It is a very quick training that you can find at www.denverboyscouts.org
